I've been tagging along with Australian photographer Mellie Tjoeng on a few of her shoots while I've been here. It's been good practice shooting with her. I don't consider myself much of a photographer but I do enjoy it. Here's some of the shots from yesterday.



























Monday, February 20th 2012


The other night Bennett from FixieGC invited me out to an alley cat they were throwing on the coast. I came via my brother in law's mountain bike but was able to hang out and capture the finish of the race. We drank a lot of beers, talked a lot of bike, and I got to meet a lot of cool riders from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Cheers mates!





























Monday, February 13th 2012


I took a bus up the coast to Brisbane on Saturday night to see my friend Jadyn. We had a night out drinking with friends on the West End. It was a cool neighborhood with lots of bars and restaurants. The next morning I stopped by Gear Brisbane and met up with Gypsy from the tricktarck forum. I forgot to bring my camera in there, but I plan on going back and riding around with Gypsy so I can be sure to take a bunch then. Cheers Brizzy

Playing uncle consists of doing lots of family activities. One of the better adventures was to the Gold Coast Sea World. I'm a pretty big fan of diving and ocean life, so I had a good time at the underwater tanks. Also my sis and bro's cat is pretty funny.

Went down to the beach the other day at Burleigh Heads and did a short walk around the hill. The path was blocked off because of landslides, but seemed like plenty of people were walking it anyways. Lots of cool wildlife and views of the surf break.

So while I've been down here in the Gold Coast, Australia, I came into contact with the guys from FixieGC They do a weekly ride around every Wednesday, so I jumped on board and was lucky enough to borrow a fixed bike in my size. Im def out of shape, but it was great to be rolling again. Awesome guys, hopefully I'll get to link up again. Cheers!
