AlohaFixed:How long have you been riding fixed and why did you start?
Tanner:About 4 months or something like that. Why did I start? I have no idea. Hmmm...Cuz Ryan Lau and Yosuke Takasu ride them..and its just fun. It up my hipster points.
AlohaFixed:Where do you hope the direction of fixed gears will go?
Tanner:For myself I'd like to travel and fixed gears to just progress.
AlohaFixed:How do you feel about the separation between Hawaii and the rest of the fixed gear "scene"?
Tanner:I dont think theres that much separation because of the website (alohafixed). Kinda sucks I cant ride with everyone else on the states but theres lots of riders here and its fun here. But if anyone wants to fly me out......
AlohaFixed:How do you feel about the constant comments online about your lack there of foot straps?
Tanner:Kiss my ass.
